Another day in paradise. Today’s action was a mixed bag of fun.

* Adam Kennedy (LAA) had a good day, going 2 for 3 with 1 RBI.

Atlanta 10 @ Houston 6
* James Jurries went 3 for 4 with 1 RBI and scored 4 runs.

Philadelphia 9 @ Toronto 7
* Clay Codrey (PHI) got the win. He put in 3 innings of work giving up 2 hits and 1 earned run. He also struck out one batter.

Oakland 7 @ Milwaukee 9
* Barry Zito (OAK) has an average outing. Over two innings, he gave up three hits and one earned run—striking out one.

Minnesota 6 @ Tampa Bay 1
* Shawn Camp (TB) has a miserable inning—costing TB the game. The 5th inning saw Camp surrender 6 hits and 4 earned runs. The other two runs, unearned, came as a result of an error by left fielder Delmon Young.

Detroit 8 @ Cleveland 11
* Ryan Ludwick (DET) went 3 for 5 today, including a homer. He picked up 4 RBIs.

San Diego 17 @ Seattle 4
* Scott Atchison (SEA) has a brutal outing. He pitched for 1.2 innings and was hammered. Atchison gave up 9 hits and 8 runs.

St. Louis 0 @ Florida 9
* Marlins pitching blanks St. Louis. They gave up 4 hits, 3 walks and struck out 5.

Washington 4 @ NY Mets 5
* Cliff Floyd (NYM) went 2 for 3 including a double and one RBI.

Los Angeles 3 @ Baltimore 6
* Nomar Garciaparra (LA) went 0 for 3 today and remains hitless in his new uniform (0-5). Garciaparra played first base today.

Pittsburgh 7 @ Boston 6
* Bronson Arroyo (BOS) has a terrible outing. In 1.2 innings of work, Arroyo surrendered 2 walks, 5 hits and 3 earned runs.

Texas 9 @ Kansas City 8
* Doug Mientkiewicz (KC) has a good game by going 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs. Andy Sisco (TX) was destroyed in his 2/3rds of an inning appearance. He surrendered 2 walks, 2 hits and 3 earned runs.

Cleveland 7 @ Minnesota 3
* Brandon Phillips (CLE) went 2 for 3 with 1 home run and 2 RBIs.

Arizona 13 @ Chi White Sox 2
* Orlando Hernandez (ARI) rolls passed White Sox hitters. He gave up 1 hit in his two innings of work. White Soc hitters Scott Podsednik and Jim Thome are a little slow out of the gate. Thome did get a base knock today (1 for 4).

Cincinnati 4 @ NY Yankees 1
* Randy Johnson (NYY) was touched up early. He went 3 mediocre innings giving up 1 walk, 3 hits and 3 earned runs.
